My journey into the healing arts officially bloomed in 2011, when I began my training at the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis, Ca. Yet like a lotus growing through the silence of rich mud, I had already been in covert operation as an energy healer for many years, and it all started with horses. 

For over a decade, I frequented ranches while working as a vet assistant. As I placed my hand on a horse, I would receive gentle visions and I would send prayers and visions of peace back to soothe the horse. It was instinctual to me, as natural as breath.

I managed an acupuncture clinic for a year after transitioning from animals. Part of my job involved making herbal tinctures as per the acupuncturist’s instructions. As I was combining herbs into the jars, I started my covert prayers again - weaving healing intentions into the tinctures. One day the acupuncturist asked me to create my own tincture, which I did simply by smelling the herbs. She noted I was a natural at herbal medicine and encouraged me to pursue the path of a healer.

After massage training, I trained to become a yoga teacher at I Am Yoga, where I taught restorative yoga alongside starting my own bodywork business. This deepening of mind-body-spirit connection led me to study Ayurveda first under the outstanding Bonita Carol in 2013, followed by the wise and insightful Dr. Paul Dugliss of New World Ayurveda, where I specialized in Spiritual Counseling and Vedic Astrology. As Ayurveda completely transformed my daily life, healed chronic digestive disorders and anxiety, I feel blessed to share this wonderful toolbox with other women, by providing therapeutic treatments and education.

Even though my lotus is deeply rooted in Ayurveda, I synergise the principles of Ayurvedic Medicine, Astrology, Yoga, Qi Gong, Theta Healing, and European Bee Shamanism, in my healing arts - a beautiful palette with which to paint the best picture of healing.

For me, this is very much the living essence of wholeness: combining all useful tools to balance the elements of cosmos and nature.

It is now 2023 and I have recently changed the name of Lotus Blooming Ayurveda to Divine Octave, as we grow and evolve our offerings reflect that expansion! It is my delight to share these new gifts with you!
